Members of our Youth Engagement Projects have been busy putting together a collection of photos documenting their personal experiences of lockdown: from time spent with family (including furry friends) to catching up on studies, to celebrating birthdays and everything in between.
The collection of images will be sealed away as a ‘time capsule’ – allowing the young people to look back on these times in the future.
Over 12 weeks we produced a series of fun social media challenges to encourage everyone to keep dancing during lockdown. The project included a number of artists that have been, or are currently, involved in our work – artists from Austria, England, Ethiopia, Northern Ireland, Palestine & USA.
Don’t worry if you missed out the first time around – below you will find links to all of the challenges!
This project was made possible thanks to funding from the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
Our youth dance theatre classes have moved online! These weekly sessions are delivered via Zoom and use dance, movement and music in fun, energetic workshops leading to performances.
No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome.
If you have young people interested in joining one of our youth groups please get in touch.
